Crisis Communication Instruction
The 4Comm team has spent years developing established curriculum in all aspects of emergency public information, including on-camera media interviews, social media monitoring and reporting, and Joint Information System/Center operations. While 4Comm offers a variety of established instruction in modern risk and crisis communication concerns, the team also specializes in customized learning to ensure the presented content meets the size, scope, audience, budget and objectives of the training sponsor.
Assessment and Evaluation
The team at 4Comm has conducted extensive research and evaluation in crisis communication in support of Federal, state and local EPI programs. Their assessments have provided valuable feedback with relevant and up-to-the-minute data to gauge the success of crisis communication – as well as opportunities to improve. In addition to compiling the information, 4Comm also prepares the data in an accessible format that best serves your leadership – from reports, graphics and presentations, to documentation that highlights best practices and lessons learned.
Media Engagement
4Comm consists of a dedicated team of media professionals skilled at providing instruction in media interviews and spokesperson techniques. We offer coursework and consultation designed for senior leadership, policymakers, government officials, and subject-matter experts who are likely to interact with the news media before, during, or after an emergency event.
Strategic Communications
The team at 4Comm also has extensive experience in studying the impacts crisis communications can have on emergency operations. From calling people to action to enhancing overall mission effectiveness, more first responders understand the role communications can play in ensuring public safety during crisis.
